What am I saying, my mother doesn't make me update my blog. I don't think she even knows it exists. Whatever. But yeah, I'm really, really tired and didn't particularly want to update right now. I just want to sleep. Or have a bath, or maybe sleep in the bath (don't worry I have a blow-up neck pillow, there's very little chance of me drowning at all). I'm very tired because I didn't get home till very late last night, like, 04:30 late. Consequently I had real trouble waking up this morning, despite of my brother's very deliberate bellowing whilst playing on COD.
We missed the 14:00 showing of Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows (just for your information imdb.com gave the film a pretty spiffy 7.8 out of 10, wow imdb-ers you sure enjoyed Robert Downey Jnr's cavorting, didn't you?) so got the bus into town to go to the showing an hour later. This of course meant we went to KFC for luncheon, an excellent and delicious choice indeed, and then on to see the film! I have to say I really enjoyed it, but I'd anticipated that as I loved the first one so much. I thought the plot was darned exciting, and I liked it when Mary got thrown out of the moving train.. I also liked Stephen Fry's Myecroft (and his butler Stanley, I could have laughed out loud at the "where are you going?!" bit) and the world war theme running through it. Could have chucked my cinnamon popcorn up at the "who is the fisherman and who is the trout" hook bit though, it was pretty intense to say the least.
Pizza Express have got a new boy, and oh my! isn't he a cutie? Yes, yes he is actually, he was very pleasant both to talk to and to look at, and he suggested we use another 241 ticket and get a free salad to have with our pizzas as it would cost the same as the pizzas on their own. The best bit was the super lime-filled carafe of water and the "Promotional savings £31.20" when the bill only came to £26.40 to actually cough up. We gave him a nice tip (which is probably the only reason he was lovely, but I'm not bothered, he made me feel happy okay).
I'm tired now. It's only just turned nine and I am seriously tempted to just turn in for the night right now. Not even joking.
